HEY. I posted this on tumblr, but I figured I should post it here too.I designed how I would like Merlin's robes to look like if he ever happened to be promoted to Court Sorcerer.
I'd personally love it if the costume department made his robes still resemble his, for a lack of better words, servant clothes, but would have elements of elegance and the classic Merlin look that we all think of when we think of Merlin: long blue robs with gold and silver stars on them.
The boots would obviously still be the same because they're the best boots in the word and who would want those gone?
And, yeah. I hope you like it. C:

Haha the boots! obviously they are the best, they're Westwood Pirate Boots (a fortune btw lool) and your outfit is lush! I'd totally approve if they give him a ...richer outfit for season 5, for gold I don't know, could be too much for the moment maybe? but he needs to be Arthur's advisor, officially, I mean, it's not like he always gives him the best recommendation in any simple thing! so yes, definitely new clothes. And btw...Colin has been elected as the Best Actor in the Virgin Media TV Awards [link]

Yes, I saw his win! Merlin also won best Sci-fi! I'm so proud of our babiess ;u;
And it wouldn't be gold, but the colour would be a bright yellow to resemble gold, much like the "gold" arm bands around many of morgana's dresses, which upon closer inspection, aren't actually gold but a yellowish-coloured fabric.
And ughh I just need a promotion for Merlin. Anything to just acknowledge him, and I'd be happy :')
