Also if you're going to make a Vietnam piece, how about set it on a city instead of the countryside?
I've never seen you draw urban enviroments as often as you do in other settings. Of course, there weren't as many urban fight in Vietnam (unless in areas like the southeast, DMZ and Saigon region, the only major urban warfare would be seen at Tet if I recall)
It's just a suggestion, you don't have to follow it as usual.

i not saying or claiming this is true fact but
ive heard (or watched) looooonnngg time ago that the offensives on the other beaches not 'as bad' or 'as heavy' like it did in Omaha.
So, kindda understand why games or movies goes for more interesting route.

Sword Beach saw more than 2 hours fighting and about 700 allied casualties. UK, Polish, French and Norwegians landed there.
The Allied Forces started general landing and inland advance at about 2 hours, while some fighting was still going on.
Not quite Omaha, but the first minutes at Sword probably had similar scenes.
