The edge of life, the blight of sanity, a swamp is all that marks it's existence.
We knew we had to traverse there, to discover the city that started it all, a city believed to be lost forever.
Experts think the city fell into the ocean, down into the depths where none can retrieve it, but the recent study of the behaviour of Amsks has lead us to believe otherwise.
Amsk love magic, they seek out and destroy those with the gift first and with such ferocity. It'd make much sense that the large area of deadland swamps they rarely leave would then have a large quantity of magic in it. And what better place to look for a magic city.

This is Nakuma a neflim for believed to deserve to be the water bearer so bad she left the island and searched for the relics on her own. During her trip she entered the swamps, and was attacked by one of it's residents. She lost an arm and lost her marbles. She tracked down and slew the exact amsk who took her arm, and turned it's bones into her staff. She now lives in the swamps, unable to pull herself away.

Another semi old sketch, about 1.5 years old now. Finally finished.
