Description
I know I have commissions to work on, but I've switched to using a desktop for now and wanted to get adjusted to using my tablet on it before working on them. Cai was already sketched out, so I lined and colored him in my free time.

Some info on this little guy:

Name: Caith Tully
Species: Kelpie
Physical Age: 10
Actual Age: Unknown
Origin: Irish

Has two other forms: a half kelpie form, and a full kelpie form. Full kelpie he takes on the form of a foal, however, because of his physical appearance.

Personality: Extremely bashful and reserved (because of his disability), however, he is quick to anger if provoked. He can't take very good care of himself, but he sure will try as hard as he can.

Disabilities: Blind, also has asthma. Was born blind, contracted asthma when he was two after a serious illness. However, he has mostly recovered from the asthmatic issues. They still pop up when he overworks himself, but otherwise he is fine.

Strengths: What he calls "sticky": if he touches someone, he has the ability to turn his skin very glue-like, trapping them. Most kelpies use this ability to drag their victims into the water and eat them; Caith merely uses it for self defense (albeit a very poor form of it). He wears his sleeves over his hands so that he doesn't accidentally use this power on others. Can also stay underwater for long periods of time, although that time varies depending on which form he is in.
Kelpies also have the power to take on the face of someone their victim knows. However, because Caith is blind, he cannot utilize this power.

Adoptive father: Oshiro Yuya (adopted by a cat.)

Caith's father died in a major Mythos battle, leaving him by himself. However, he later left his home and stumbled his way around until he came across a new gathering of Mythos, where he met Yuya and another Mythos, Hisoka. He later went back to his original home and lived there for a few hundred years, only to be found by Yuya once again. This time, Yuya officially adopted the kelpie and he now has his own place to live in Japan, where he was taken.

Uhhhh basically he's an old OC I've really been wanting to draw again. I always loved using him and he's one of my favorites to draw needless to say, so I thought I'd shift him over to this account so you can see him!
