how did you generate this? It's also seamless

All textures in my gallery are generated with my own texture generation and manipulation program. Still in development, some bugs here and there.
Seamless textures are difficult to get usually. This one is naturally seamless, while others, like this one - xitilon.deviantart.com/art/Cal⦠ - are either pre-wrapped, mid-wrapped or post-wrapped. Quite a lot of math going on.

It seems a powerful and useful program! This texture in particular seems like the heighmap of multiple voronoi tessellation overlayed, am I wrong?
Anyway did you write this program? and if so, which language did you use and what developement tool?

That's one surprisingly clever observation. I'm surprised.
Actually, this texture was made with Worley noise with farthest point instead of n'th closest, but that's very relatable. Multiple iterations in this configuration just give more details (smaller and larger "peaks").
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worley_n⦠(probably you know about it anyway)
Yes, I'm the author. Language is C#, and IDE is MS Visual Studio (2008, I guess) and/or SharpDevelop.
Do you do anything similar?

I'm a programmer but my work is most for games. I have some experience with texture generation however I never uploaded those projects. One is a random generator for a planet's texture, capable of drawing for both gas and solid planets. The other is a realistic generator for rts terrain. I can show you some examples when I log to DA with my pc

I guess that's a premium membership feature.
You could upload it to a separate folder and give and link to it here.
