I'm not really sure how to do it, I just practice using different colors and avoid shading with just a darker version of the main color.

thank you! I like flower corwns, but I prefer the ones with small flowers (though I don't own one)
I did it with a reference, I'm in the process of actually learning how to draw them correctly.

Yeah I don't own a flower crown either, but I really wish I did. Then I can be like a flower fairy or something and feel really pretty as the wind blows through my hair. Sob, like thats ever going to happen. My hair is super short because I just cut it, so theres no way my hair can billow through the wind...

I have short hair too! I am in the midddle of letting it grow. I have kept it short for 5 years now, but I miss being able to actually do something with my hair. I love braids! but It gets difficult to braid my hair when it's short. Now is shoulder length and I kind of look like Snape. lol

I know braids look so pretty, but I'm not very good at braiding hair... even when I had medium length hair.

not sure, Snape is just too fabulous to compare. But I do want my hair to grow longer, I just don't like how this sholder length looks on me. Or maybe I'll grow tired of waiting and just go back to short again.
I got "good" at self-braiding after much practice (let's just say that my hair enjoys much more the Goku look) (I wish I was kidding) (Every time I look in the mirror when I just wake up, it's there like BAAAM! GOKU LOOK) (and then I take a shower for it to go back to being boringly straight) (So I just put on a hair-bow and wait patiently for everything to get better)

Yeah I'm finding short hair pretty easy to manage. Like before I just tied my hair back in a ponytail, but now I just have to brush a few times and I'm ready. But then again, there is always that one bed hair spot that doesn't brush down and sticks up annoyingly for a few hours...
Haha Goku look! I don't have the patience for self-braiding, because when I hold my arms by my hair for a long time they get really tired and start to turn a little numb...
