Ardax was a male Human colonel of the Galactic Empire's Imperial Army who served as second-in-command to the Ambassador Furgan on the Imperial Stormtrooper Academy Planet of Carida. He also commanded the Dreadnaught-class heavy cruiser Vendetta to transport the ambassador. Ardax managed to successfully evacuate from Carida with his superior and crew before the planet was destroyed by the Sun Crusher and renegade Jedi Kyp Durron. Ardax participated in Ambassador Furgan's foolish attempt to kidnap Anakin Solo to raise him as a new Darth Vader to unite the Imperial remnants. During the battle, the arrival of the MC90 Cruiser Galactic Voyager commanded by Admiral Ackbar forced Ardax to try and retreat, being overmatched by the more powerful Mon Calamari ship. Colonel Ardax was killed shortly after when the Vendetta was destroyed with all hands aboard by the massive lightning storms while attempting to navigate between the parts of Anoth.
