This was taken many years ago. I do remember it was very early in the morning because the sun used to dry up all the dew on the webs. The shutter speed was probably 1/30 to 1/60 second?

ok thanks. I'm yet to nail a spider web. The only one I have in my gallery Β looks like thick rope but that particular web was very thick and grainy. That was perfect for what I wrote with it but I want a pretty web like yours in my collection.Β

Nearly all the spider web photos were taken at a friends property on the south coast of NSW (near Bega). He actually moved out of it last week. It was my last spider web photo I think! lol

I'm not to keen on spiders either, but I like their webs, especially with beads of dew on them. (He says screaming like a girl as he finds a spider crawling on his shoulder! lol)

I hate walking into webs! I do that all the time. Just last night I was walking up my driveway, when I 'found' a web! It one thing I have to worry about because I'm so tall.

That's very kind of you. I am on holidays at the moment and have taken 350 photos today of some brilliant colourful parrots and a few beautiful beaches of the south coast of NSW. It's been a great day.

The south coast of NSW is sensational!! There are so many unspoilt beaches. We were the only people on the beach today. We also saw some whales breaching out to sea. It was a magical place.

I was fishing off Cronulla two weeks ago and saw a mother and her calf breaching and splashing their pectoral fins. It was amazing!! I never tire of seeing whales and dolphins!
