Thanks very much Kay! I really like albizia flowers. I know they are similar to the mimosa, but I think the albizia is more ... delicate. I also like the shape of the tree.Β Β www.alamy.com/stock-photo-silkβ¦

Quite striking even after a battering ,
those leaves resemble Mimosa (are they sensitive to touch )
I wonder if those little pearls of moisture are sweetened with nectar .

I think it's from Africa or Asia originally. I have three in my garden, but only two of them flower. I used to have a big tree, but the possums ate all the leaves! It didn't last long after that!

Thanks Grace! They're one of my favourite flowers. Even when they are nearly dead and wet, I think they look interesting. They look different when they are in full bloom.
