What? Rainbow lorikeets "gentle"??? Are we talking about the same birds? lol

They are loud, noisy and certainly stand up for themselves but I like them.

The ones at the zoo are so gentle, you can buy nectar to feed them and they fly down and land on you to feed. 😊

They do that in Queensland. The lorikeets are wild birds that fly in to be fed. There are hundreds of them!

I like lorikeets. They are one of the few birds that stand up to the noisy miners.

This is a video showing the noisy miners annoying a kookaburra. (Bloody miners!)
