In the beginning, these two didn't get along, well Arya didn't like Rin. They grew to tolerate each other in time however and in this scene, she clearly infuriated by Rin and he mainly confused. Before he could even pull out his sword she pinned him and reveal Gauntlets out of thin air. Everyone was surprised they appear out of nowhere and they didn't know her too well since this was near the start of the year. She did get scolded for her actions by the teacher who looks after the frog demons. Her gauntlets have the power to throw punches stronger than three men or more if she put in the effort. (She dose just... more effort.) I think Arya just wanting to prove to Rin that he isn't the only strong one in the group when it comes to fighting with great speed, agility, and reflexes. XD
