I feel sick as hell today. That fence took a butload of time to do and I was SOOOOOO irritated with it. Never again...But I'm experimenting with lighter colors, mountains, grass and clouds. I really liked the clouds actually. Only one part f the mountains impressed me.. But whatev, I'm still trying.
That will be a new character you'll soon meet in the comic. He's got a crazy relation with Shadow. The cows (yus they are cows) are kinda off but again, they looked cool. The middle one it dedicated to Duke, my steer who looks exactly like that lol, 'cept for the horns. He's got little shorthorn stubs. I forgot what they called them though.

Vision- For vision, five stars. I absolutely love this view as a whole. I've never seen anything like it. you really brought out some amazing colors and gave us the perspective of a life time. Amazing.
Originality- Five stars, again. I have never seen an image that touches this or comes close even in similarity. Beautifully done.
Technique- For technique, four stars. There are some anatomical oddities in the dog's pose, and some blending issues. I do, however, love the style of your grass, and how you made the fields feel wispy and summery. Very beautiful work.
Impact- Another five stars for impact. Its been a long time since I was able to look at an image and feel truly moved and nostalgic. I am so taken with this piece.

Awe thanks! I just had this image stuck in my head for so long. I just had to draw it. It took a while to do and when your sick it's great to hear ya did something right in your off-time.
Yea I gotta go change a few things on the wolf, like his "wrist" and shoulder, but for being digital I was amazed I was even able to do something like this. But THANK YOU! Your compliments to the art mean a lot to me! Even if I am mad at the darned fence haha

The colors make me feel so peaceful, while looking at this. I like the experimenting. The steers look posed perfectly.
Hmmm, I know you were having trouble with the fence? Only problem I see is where the character's paw is bent over it. Kind of looks like the wrist is paper thin. Other than that it's wonderful!

the background is amazing!!!!!!
two things with the canine though quickly,
1. try to bring his shoulders/arms up a bit on his torso.
2. make his "wrists" a little thicker so you see a little more on the edge of the pole, his paws wont look as flat that way.
everything else is amazing!
the tail is great and as said above, the background is fantastic!

Niiiceeeee Ashton! I really like this one. I love how you did the grass in the foreground. You should do more like this one, in terms of lighter colors. It really looks good! The fence isn't half bad either

That fence was a bitch! I had the worst ass head ache trying to color it and I was finally like BRAWRFJSDwtohDSWAN! Your done! and quit. I liked the colors. Bit off base for me though, like I like the darker colors, but this was something new. keep it? I liked the grass but again, I was dizzy as hell so it was a tad bit off. and annoying :/

Still looks good to me. Personally I like the light colors. The dark colors are appealing too, but the light is just something different.
