Description Hehe look what inspired me - my this years carnival costume, I was Cleopatra I don't know I just thought I'd make some "classical" fan art and I want to start that serie of Greek Mythology soon too!

Btw, I don't know if these two really looked like this, unfortunately I haven't seen them alive, but putting together some pics from my history book and the image in my head had this as a result.

I wish I could be a little more busy with drawing again, but school stuff eats me at the moment

That is SO cool!! Their costumes are AWESOME and wonderful job on their faces too! I don't really know the story though...didn't she love Mark Antony too? Like a crazy love triangle? that's so cool though you were her for Carnival!! We don't really have Carnival here. :[

Did you kow that Cleopatra was actually ugly? I had a picture of her portrait on a coin in my history book.

You did a great job on the coloring and the background! I'm completely in love with the hieroglyphs. And their clothes!
And I really like Caesar's expression ^^

I heard that too! Some say she would have been the most beautiful woman of the ancient world, but we learnt in history that actually she had a very masculine face and wasn't beautiful at all Idk

I like it! There's a great attention to detail (all these hieroglyphs in the background!!) and the colours are very soft. I particularly like Cleopatra - what a beautiful costume!! I love the idea of seeing soon Greek mythology drawings!!
