Description A flyer for a benefit concert for ARF: the Animal Rescue Foundation of Mobile Alabama. It was a charity event, that we were asked to create a flyer for, to help raise funding for animals that were displaced, injured or abandoned after the devastating events of Hurricane Katrina (and other US Gulf Coast region Hurricanes, and natural disasters, in general). I also had to redraw the ARF logo, as the only logo they had was made for the web (72dpi) and just looked nasty in print. So, using Photoshop, I cleaned it up and redrew it to just look better, not redesign it.

Afterward we were given full rights to modify and distribute this flyer as a mock-print sample for our product, for promotional use of it's printing capabilities; Originally there was a brief description of the event, as well as contact and location information. I have removed information regarding the event for purposes of anonymity, and also for space to place our logo and contact info.

Original size 8.5"x11" (letter size US standard), 300pdi CMYK
Created using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop CS2 on a PowerPC iMac G5.

perhaps more later.

Oh, and be sure to check out their website (www.animalrescuemobile.org) or your local animal rescue foundation.

Please feel free to comment and critique... I am open to and appreciative of professional and general opinions.

Thanks for looking!

ARF, Satori Coffee House and Xante are all registered trademarks and copyright of their respected owners.

EDIT #1: I just checked some spelling and reworded the description. NO changes to the flyer itself. And, yes, I realize it looks simple and not very artsy.. but that's what they wanted. Believe me, I had lots of ideas in mind - which I may develop if I have time and post here as well. Perhaps putting my concept sketches in scraps.

EDIT #2: Apparently, the original submitted (full view) image has been removed, or something. I'll have to find it in my files and reattach it.

EDIT #3: I finally managed to fix it... how many years later? lol

Thanks man, always a pleasure to hear from you. :Handshake:

I spend so much time doing things for work I burn out my drive to do extra work, too. Let's hope we can all find a balance, someday.
