"My dream is, before all this world falls into disaster, the seed of conscience grows within every people, healing the damaged roots of the society and bringing sense, stopping the whirl of madness and making everybody to be better people.

My dream is, someday soon, this world turns into a world in which people have a safe and fair present, and can assure a future.

I don't know if this is really a dream, but one thing is sure: if it doesn't happen, our entire universe will become a nightmare".

That's my entry for Wacom® Dreams Contest 2009.

At first, I conceive this drawing with with an ecological meaning, but later I decided to go further. I tried to describe the worrying state of our society, with lots of pollution not only in the enviroment, but also in our goverments and political systems. That sad behaviour has extended to the population, and every day we have to hear about murder, suicide, terrorism and so on.

And no one do nothing.
But the power is inside us, though most of people don't know.

For all that, my dream is everyone awake that lost common sense, that seed of conscience inside each of us, and change the way things happen.
I'm really worried about my future, cause in some way I'm afraid of being shooted by a crazy idiot for no reason. I'm afraid of having to live over cardboard while worthless people enjoys their jacuzzis and expensive boats. I'm afraid to lose my children, when I'd have them, because a social assistant see them injured when they fall accidentally while playing in the park, and that goverment employee considers maltreat and want to take them away from me.

I'm not inventing, those are real situations, and I hope them to stop soon.
So this is what I tried to explain in this...maybe you can call it...allegorical artwork.

And though I know I'm not gonna win the contest (a pity cause I really like the prizes ) I'm happy for doing this social-critique-styled theme I wanted to do long ago.
