"Only on dark moonless nights, in the most unexplored regions on Earth, the cursed Obsidian stone spirit is able to escape from the vault it was banished into, and quietly longs for the celestial being that once was, but never again will come to be."Once again I wanted to revisit my very old Gemstones concepts, this time tying to perform a more environmental, scenic approach. This is based on the stone Obsidian, which inspired a mainly desaturated dark scene with bright, contrasting shines.
Along the line of the previous pieces on this series, my aim was to create an illustration that had the main focus on the stones themselves but that'd be as well surrounded by a compelling environment.
