Description I based the idea of the setup off a drawing that my sister drew for me. Ok, so these are my 3 new characters. The shark man on the left is Set, the merman on the right is Landen and the mermaid is Annalee. These characters go with a plot that I will use later on. The mermaid was originally a human but I decided to make her a mermaid.

Sharkpeople hunt merpeople normally, so the situation was: mermaid out for a swim alone. Sharkman sees her. Sharkman harasses her. She manages to swim away. Sharkman chases. Merman hears her call for help. Merman comes to the resque. Sharkman decides to come a different time....for some reason I am not yet sure of. ^^ This is why I do not write stories. I wish I could! It's much easier to use point form. :b

this drawing kind of reminds me of the story that I am doing. Mermaid is captured by the Sharkainians (race of people who are half shark half man, more shark though, who enslave mermaids) and her brother has to come and save her from her wicked and sinister master who is the leader of the Sharkainians

Great!! I love when there's an interesting story to go with a picture. And it's very well done. I love the character interaction, it flows so well. And their poses are great! I also love their ummm outfit/fins or whatever you call the fishy part of them! I love the colors of the boy protecting his girlfriend. And there's a lot of detail! The anatomy, hair, and faces are so cool! I really like the hands, too. And their faces are very expressive in a realistic way. Great!

Oh my goodness, thank you so much! I'm glad you like their fins ^^ I try to put lots of detail, but it's hard to get the anatomy right, especially hands. I find them so hard to draw :b

I knowwwww...I usually have to draw and then redraw a hand several times before I get it the way I want it to look (though there are a FEW rare occasions when I actually get it right the first time)... ehhh hands!

Your poses and expressions are very good, you understand that emotions reflect themselves in the tails as well as in the arms and faces.
