I'm getting really tired of this. Plague doctors are historical figures. Just because one character has already been based off of them does not mean future characters cannot as well. Honestly, look from Locklear to "The Plague Doctor". Other than the fact that they both are based off of the historic plague doctors, they really have no more similarities. Even their robes and masks are incredibly different. The concept of "Plague Doctors" does not belong to just one creature! They are two separate entities and I'm getting sick of hearing about it.
