You are most welcome, I have been doing some modeling myself but I am a novice.
So seeing things like you created is great inspiration

Thank you very much!
Actually the decor is influenced by Russian wooden architecture. There are some more free 3d models in my gallery:[link]

That was already my member name on Daz-Artzone some years ago, and some people known me from there. I gave me this name because I was born on Dec. 25.

The model is perfectly executed, it is big work! Such windows do in the central and northern part of Russia.

There was indeed Russian influence. At first I wanted to create a small rural Russian house. I have searched for images and I found an image of a very similar cottage (ะดะฐัะฐ) by a lake. Unfortunately I cannot find again.

I did already search via Google Images; but only in German and English. There are some houses who look very close to my model.

a 'test' render is cooking now, will be about 17.00 GMT before it's ready and I make a final decision on lighting and do a 'full' render

Does it have interior surfaces or is it just for exterior views? I ask this because a few months back, I bought a Victorian house model I intended to use- only to find it had been built of one-sided cloth plains- all facing out. There was no way to make use of the interior. I ended up building a house that had full inside and outside textures.

It has interior walls and ceilings and you can select them and give them different colors and textures, but there are no stairs and furniture.
