Description
Modeled some time ago.I made this just for fun (3d modeling is always fun) and used the model never so far in a 3d render.
Obj. file highly detailed; I would be curious to see this in one of your images.

I updated the model and fixed the bug. The 3d model is now fit for import into Daz-Studio and Bryce.

I was wondering if it is ok to offer the background I made using your Human Tree in my free stuff at Renderosity? I was trying to find the usage rights but am having no luck, one of the reason I don't use this site much is I can't seem to find my way around it very well. It jumps me all over the place!

I just used it, credited you of course.Β I do wish the face had been more visible.Β If you ever get to playing with it, perhaps?Β Also, this would be salable as a rigged poser model.

I don't model anymore and when I did, it was only for clients of other services I provided like animation or kiosks.Β I never sold my work, BUT I has a friend who does model for sale and I will ask her if I can drop her name as a source of info, if you'd like.

If you didnt give comercial use rights to that merchant i sugest you file DMCA against him/her thru Linden labs [link] to get model removed from second life!

Thanks for letting me know! It's not the first time of copyright violation of my work.
Going the way through DMCA would be very troublesome and I won't do this. I'm sure not many people will buy it, because my 3d modeling work isn't really skillful so far.
The only thing I will do is changing the license for commercial use.
Nevertheless I'm totally annoyed about this and I'm in serious consideration if I should furthermore offer new 3d models for free!

Your modeling skills are awsome! Human tree sculpture is amazing if i may say so! As for licence i would sugest you add in description of model that it is not permited to use it as 3d model in 3d enviroments like SL and games for comercial porposes,only to be used for graphics rendering! That specific merchant in SL has nasty habbit of snaching any free model online and seling it as his own work! There are manny like him in Sl but linden labs is sorting it out,more DMCA reports faster they will root out theifs!

Thanks for the kind words. It makes no sense to licence only for artwork; the thieves don't respect this. As I said I will do nothing; it's not really that much important.
I create digital art just for fun and each lawsuit would kill the fun permanently.

Question: is this a model to be used with poser or DAZ?
And if it can be used with DAZ, how can i import it to my runtime?
Sorry for nagging you, but i really have a hard time and even discard a lot of good freebies because they are not structured with directories i can recognize

The model works fine in Bryce, Vue, 3ds Max, Poser etc.
For some reason it will not work in Daz Studio. I did just try it and got an error. Normally I'm not a Daz Studio user.
Sorry for this; but you can use in Poser via: File -> Import -> Wavefront OBJ.
