You cannot imagine how often Bryce has crashed during making this.This is not a planned render.
I made just blooming trees and goats in Wings3d and played around with them.

I saw your another post with simple trees made with Wings3D. These with flowers are also made with Wings3D or are they Bryce ones?

The blooming trees are also completely made in Wings3d
(and the goats too)
It's rather simple as I have descripted in the tutorial.
There is only an additional step: extrude the ends of the branches again, only a tiny little bit, scale up,
subdivide (only the active polygons) and give them a different material.

I've been planing to build a tree with flowers very common here in my city, but I didn't find time for that yet.

I'm always trying to find simple solutions.
Therefore Wings3d is the best choice.
If you open a different modeling program you see a lot of buttons and controllers almost like the control panel of a jet.
If you open Wings3d you see almost nothing. Nevertheless everything is possible with little effort.
Vehicles, buildings and trees, clothing and even human characters.
The only thing I miss is true Boolean operations and a better uv mapping tool would be nice that can handle high-res models.

With such a high position of the camera it is very difficult to make a real landscape. Too many objects in the camera's field of view. But you did it!
What is the file size? Did you use manual cloning and the Instancing Lab?

I have used both, instancies and manual cloning.
Bryce has crashed constantly and I had to begin again and again.
At the end I wasn't able to save the scene, therefore I don't know how large the file is, certainly too large.
It was a lot of work but I'm not really satisfied with the result.
