One of the best shots I've seen in a while of Stonehenge. I love the heavenly look on the ground, opposed to grass.

Well done

Every time I see this photo, it looks brand new and like I've never seen it before. This is masterpiece...grass like fog (IR?), clouds in long exposure, interesting subject, MONOCHROME...just perfect!

serene-topaz [2010-01-04 20:23:36 +0000 UTC]

I love how the use of IR turns the grass white. In the foreground it almost looks like it could be long exposure water which adds an extra bit of mystery to the shot.

I was just there! It was freaking cold and windy and raining, but those stones are ancient... it's a wonder how they have stood for all that time without being weathered that much. Great shot!

i want to buy this for my wall, but i see your print settings havent been adjusted, as it stands now it will print with a big white border. would you mind adjusting your print settings?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

xMEGALOPOLISx In reply to demarchand [2009-12-02 21:56:47 +0000 UTC]

Unfortunately, I can't because DA don't have a frames with ratio 1:2, and in other way they will cut the edges, and I don't want to lose important elements of an image... good thing with white border is that it adds a natural passe-partout look to the final print. Regards!

demarchand In reply to xMEGALOPOLISx [2009-12-03 04:07:38 +0000 UTC]

edit print > photo prints > more sizes... > scroll down to 2.0 [2:1] it will auto rotate to fit the aspect of the image.

im about to upload a 2:1, i like that ratio myself.

Oh, you're right, but unfortunately there is only one size to choose (should be available now)...

Thank you very much for your interests and support.
