Interesting, i'm not sure whether the vignetting effect was a wise choice since this isn't shot with film.

interesting, but you can make vignetting only with film?
the vignette effect was add by 3 filters, lens and by angle of light. no digital manipulation with this shot.

Nice use of a prolonged exposure, it gives an interesting effect to the sky and amazing touch to the picture.

Such an amazing shot that I can't say anything more... What a beautiful black and white, long exposure is a very good choise for the clouds. No digital noise. Fuck, that's trully enormous !

The sky like this really has a sort of painting/artistic quality this way. I really like it. Nicely done.

Effective & simplistic. Works brilliantly, it has that feeling that you're looking thru a crystal ball or the third eye, or a dream-like viewing of/travelling to .. dare I say it, an 'Unnamed Place' ...
Fantastic image ..

Minimal and effective.. it has that zoomed look but I read your description... you don't get digital noise with the long exposure?

xMEGALOPOLISx In reply to Sun-Seeker [2007-05-10 08:31:33 +0000 UTC]
it's hard to get noise with 5d, in other case it's hard to judge about noise when you see a small crop, but on printed image 20x30 I dont see any noise at all.

I love this. Just long exposure? It's beautiful and I'd put it up as a physical photo.
I must buy the print but I have not money...
