This is my personal goodbye to the really calm and friendly Yuki. I still miss him and his character. He was way too young to go...So, this is following the idea of the rainbow bridge though I don't believe in heaven. But I believe in a soul and a soul can't die, right? Whatever...
Goodbye Yuki - you will live on in my heart forever.

Yes, it hurts much more as if the pet already lived a lot of years and dies old. But he doesn't have to feel pain anymore. Thank you.

It just feels so lonely when a budgie dies...one misses their chirps, the flapping of their wings and everything of them. I had several budgies in my infance and I cried loads at the loss of each of them, because they were all so special to me.
I also belive the soul never dies

You're right. It still makes me a bit sad seeing his "wife" alone in the group now. They were such a lovely couple and I miss his charming and calm character.
Every pet is special and this way I want to keep them in my heart and memory.

A very pretty, colorful way to commemorate the sad loss of a loved one. Such a lovely looking bird.
Perhaps it is not that there is no heaven, but that heaven was not properly described, thus causing you not to believe in something you don't agree with.

Well you are right. Eventually no one can really say if there is a kind of heaven or not. In my opinion everyone has it's one understanding of it and thats fine.

Yeah. I really don't know how old Deedee was. We sort of adopted her, my brother was in marching band and she was "dive-bombing" the band. I loled about that. We posted noted that we found her and nobody stepped up to claim her. We had her for 5 years. She was pretty funny. She would dance and sing. I miss her and my other budgies that passed on, but I know they are with me and in my heart

Naw, I'm sure she was really cute. Those little parrots really can bring sunshine to our live.
And as long we remember them and the good times we had they will never really die. As you said they live on in our hearts.
