Kohaku and her friends are in the 20th Century Tokyo living normal lives.

600 years into the future, the war with Sailor Chaos begins on Earth. Neo Queen Serenity and the Inner Queens have taken on their Cosmic forms. Usagi and her team gain their Seraphic forms to battle Chaos. The war turned against them as they saw the raw abilities of her destructive powers. Cosmos watches in horror as one by one, each senshi and their allies fell to Sailor Chaos and her powers steadily continues to grow. It was as though she had recognized Serenity from her battles as Sailor Moon. Sailors Cosmos, Seraphic Moon and Seraphic Saturn remain. Out of desperation, Usagi pleads out to give them more power to stop Chaos from advancing further and win the war. The Moon Kaleidoscope Staff evolves into the Moon Spectrum Staff. Usagi is confused how her staff had been able to evolve. Perhaps it had been her desperate plea for more power. Or it had been own sailor crystal that shined brightly. Either way, Usagi is hopeful that she, her mother and Saturn could hold Chaos off from advancing further. They attacked her with everything they have. Despite their best efforts, Sailor Chaos shows her destructive powers once more. She kills Saturn first leaving only Seraphic Moon and Sailor Cosmos. Seraphic Moon tries to make her last stand and hold Chaos off. Soon she falls to Sailor Chaos. Before dying, Usagi apologizes to her mother for failing to protect her in her ire of need and encourages her to finish the fight. On her last breath, she calls out Kohaku's name and dies. Sailor Cosmos is left alone in the fight with Sailor Chaos.
