I use references for almost everything!
The fact that some people say references are anything but helpful is absurd, EVERY artist use references.
Here I used references for the poses, the characters themselves and ice caves.

I know that references are not bad ,it's my low confidence and insecurity that makes me believe i can't draw anything decent without a reference.
pretty sure it's a mindsate that many artists go throught. Honestly it sucks the fun out of everything.
