Weee, bubbles! I like this picture because it's simple, light and happy. Little Nero's expression is so cute, he's like a puppy! 
The highlighting and shading mostly seems to follow Nero's natural shapes and curves, but why is most of his body covered in tiny straight diagonal lines? I think it gives him a flat look, despite your efforts with the shading. At first I thought he was running because most of his body and limbs are pointing in one direction, but now I've decieded it's more like he's jumping up to get the bubbles because you can't see his hind legs at all. (suggesting they are underneath his body)
