Ok!!!!!! So the absolutely lovely, generous, insane commissioned me to draw my new dragon lady!!!! And boy, I had so much fun drawing this. It's been so long since I went out of my comfort zone to try something I'm not usually drawing, let alone for myself! Drawing Ragnhild again makes me really fall in love with her design and I am so happy for the opportunity to create a full illustration of her.

The background didn't come out exactly how I wanted it. I wanted the bottom of the lake to be visible, but didn't really know how to do that without having Ragnhild touch the ground. I tried my hand at some rain effects which I'm pretty happy about, the colors came out ok-ish, wanted some more yellows but didn't really make it work. Also, having a character float half way in water from this angle was pretty tricky, but I'm pretty happy with how the effect came out!
