Summer Time Fun XDWell this is for summer contest.
I just love this pic, i think i did a good job bringing out the characters.
Key fact Whiskers can't swim. So to counter act the problem, Whiskers wears a tuba to float in the water. Actually Lexi forced Whiskers to wear it because she had to rescue him from drowning XD
Whiskers' friend Lexington "Lexi" Moonbeam the Arctic Fox (full name) is there hanging with him. She actually edged him on to have a splash fight and Whiskers is currently attacking XD

Little critique:
The shading is not very good. You sort of have an idea of where your light source is, but it is not consistent. The actual strokes are very messy, and not in a good way.
There are nice details on the swimsuits, such as the bikini ties.
Lexi's hips should be as wide as the widest part of her breasts. She doesn't look like she could stand up properly, she is far too top heavy.
The emotions and facial expressions are well-rendered.
The water on Lexi's body looks too thick and viscous.

Well... as far as shading goes i figured that since light bonces off water so even if you did stand in front of the sun light will appear on the body like everywhere. But i only tried putting shading only in ares i knew were the shading would be,
As for the hips i wasn't too sure if it was proportional, thanks for the advise.
The water... well it was my first time making water on someone so i might have messed up XD

What you stated might have been your intention, and heavens knows I'm one to be strange with light sources, but your shading and highlights just didn't make a lot of sense. I have no idea where the primary light source is, and those should be the strongest highlights, the reflected highlights should be much more subtle, but there wasn't really any variation.
You probably could have forgone the water reflections, it wouldn't really detract from the image, and would save it from being confusing.

No, breasts stick out and attract light (especially those massive hooters o.O) but I do think the shading should be different...it's just my own personal taste/style really, but look at this piece [link] and see if you think that would look better for shading.

I'm really loving how you did the water here. Quite Effective I think.
The arctic fox is really quite cute, I love how you've shaded her eyes, and the pose is lovely.
The Rat dude is quite funny looking, I've not seen a character like that so good job to the creator for being so original
I think some light on the drops of water and water on her body would have made it a little more effective though, because it looks like like its sticking to her. (does that make sence?)
