Description
My twisted fan-fiction may change a lot, but one thing that does not change is Raey (Male!Rey) and Kylo still end up fighting in the winter forest. It was the most striking location in (I would argue) the entire sequel trilogy, and a genius location for a lightsaber duel.
In this case, it is not completely accurate - I started the picture before the writing and it turns out Raey does not have a yellow crystal yet at this point in the story - but he also doesn't stand with his back to his attacker, either. Art!
Anyway, cheers to all my fellow Star Wars fans. Classic, EU, or even new Sequel-only fans, we can all enjoy Star Wars Day together.

I really like this one. What did you think of the movie, by the way?

Thanks!
I... have a rough relationship with the Sequel Trilogy, but a lot of it stems from what I consider wasted potential. Really cool designs, locations, and concepts (especially in The Force Awakens) that could have made great additions to Star Wars, but they were largely ruined by the constant tug-of-war over the movies. That's the main reason I decided to write my fan-fiction. Same basic ideas, but taken in different directions.

Yeah. I mean, I watched the movies (most of them) but I have to say that I'm not as big a fan as I was. The way the movies are, despite some of their strong points, I'm getting tired of them. I agree about the wasted potential.

There will always be the EU, and fan works, that keep the ideas fresh and the galaxy-far-far-away exciting. Even if the movies never manage to recapture the old Lucas magic.

True.
The Lego version is a lot of fun and so silly. It makes fun of itself a lot and I love it. XD

May we all share in our love of this media and the stories it tells, in whatever way in which we enjoy it. <3
