Production Notes
The AW-4 Saiph is an assault walker built for exclusive use by Heliadon's elite Imperial Guard unit. It embodies a design philosophy that emphasizes survival of both man and machine.
Like the AW-2 Alphard , the Saiph's design is based entirely on AW-1A1 Rigel . Some of its parts are actually the same as that of the Rigel, modified to increase performance.
Saiph's notable design features include head sensors based on the AWX-3 Regulus' antenna and a large composite shield wherein the Imperial Guards' iron skull emblem is incorporated. It's primary weapon is the AC-15F2, a modified version of the Rigel's AC-15 assault cannon.
Prior to the Saiph's deployment, several test-type AW-4s are distributed to several aces from the Heliadonian Army for field testing. These machines are virtually the same as the mass-production type save for their lack of the iron skull emblem.
Side Notes
-Saiph is named after the star in the constellation Orion's sword.

Wow, I am absolutely loving that shield design, I may have to ste..er borrow that for a head design The stomach area seems like its tilted wrong compared to the chest and the lines in the crotch piece are rather misaligned. Also the right (is it lower knee?) knee look like they mash together at the top. Those hands look great, except for the thumb. That position is really weird and for a lack of a better phrase doesn't look natural. What I pointed out are just the most glaring things to me but the rest of it though looks pretty spot on. I keep looking at the shield, its sooooo awesome! That thing alone makes it win. So do you have any other Rigel variants on the brain?

Hopefully no more. I need to do something more original right now, and plenty of humans . I think I have plenty to correct here when I do some real digital coloring. Anyway that's what I get for tracing an existing design to make "new" ones.
PS: No you may not not borrow the shield. Note the repeated word.
