Yes I know I'm not quite the person to do stamps, especially ones like these. I had some muse to try this out, only because of today.
Stamps are cute, I'll make them if I had actual inspiration. So sorry for it being so.. boring but I like it clean. Submitting this to a bunch of groups so I can get an opinion on how people like it.But I'm in school today, right? I take AP World History, and if anyone doesn't know it's Advanced placement (college level) course a high schooler can take. So that's nice and all, and my teacher is someone who well... you can tell she's not deeply religious. She said she's had no religion before and she is not insulting in any way, I kind of find her funny, because I'm pretty much one of the only non religious people in the class (in the school too). She'll make little comments and her tone of voice is very funny when we talk about religion.
So we're talking about the Enlightenment period, and this was a time when the Catholic Church was under a lot of pressure. My teacher was explaining how the church really did use people for their money, was corrupt, and forced people into many religious wars. And then when the topic of the philosopher Voltaire came up (he was a huge critic of religion, calling the church ignorant and so forth) people in the class commented how he was gonna burn in hell and people like that are stupid.
So I'm sitting here thinking, and I think. "Wow, religion is a huge troll!" Thus, this stamp was born.
So many people die for their faith, so much corruption is in the church, so maybe people shove their beliefs down everyone's throat, even to extreme ways by killing them. The Crusades? Seriously. Why can't we have religious tolerance? Seriously, is it so hard to respect people?
This can be interpreted many different ways. So yes, this is my opinion! No, I don't have any problems with anyone religious
I have many religious friends and respect those who are. This is my opinion.edit: I'm getting a lot of group requests on this, thank you for those. xD

we are all born and then we all die, that is unchangeable, but what is changeable is how we live our life, to it's fullest and with friends and family i will never call my life for nothing because how i lived it was my own choice.

i think i will take nothing over that and if there really was a god they would not want to be worshiped all day, that would just be arrogant.

I cant answer that for you, that answer has to come from you after you think on the question for a while and then when you finally find the answer you have to ask yourself: is it worth worrying?

not really, i asked you to search for the answer yourself :/ what i have to explain life i actually have evidence for....but i cant really give anyone because at the end of it all i cant really upload the evidence on the internet or explain it very well, seriously do what i said before and find an answer yourself without the interference of your religion, you will find a better answer that way.

Now about the boring part.Image if you never got use to it. Like each passing minute in hell is torture that you never got use too or heaven is what your heart wants most and you lived in that moment like it was your first time over and over and if you want something new to do? I respect your view and im not being pessimistic here but i know human nature, we can be content for a while but then we want more, reincarnation sounds ideal to me because i like visiting new places and meeting new people, in a sense i kinda count as a wanderer and i love it,plus reincarnation is the only way i would be able to get what i truly wanted because wandering is what i love most....and also i hate the eternal torture thing its like do 1 lifetime of evil, get tortured forever, its not fair because even if they are scum they deserve better like maybe 1 lifetime of torture for said evil and then get reborn.

I perfectly fine with it, until you spoke about the Crusades. First of all, "religious tolerance" is a completely absurd thing to say about it. It started when the Muslims, (men of a religion born from hate) started to conquer the Holy Land (home to both the Jewish, and Christians). They slaughtered many the of the non-muslim people, and then started to rule over the rest. They forced the Christians/Jews to accept Islam as their religion, and worship Allah. They destroyed many religious symbols from both sides, and turned churches & synagogues into mosques (in other words, destroying them). Gee, I wonder why 'Christian' Europe decided to go to war, and drive the Muslims out?
History lesson over.

Both sides were in the wrong. The Muslims should not have decided that the non-Muslim infidels needed to be wiped out, and the Christians maybe should have dealt with matters differently. But none the less, you get what you ask for. Conquer a nation, expect retaliation.
If Christianity is the true religion, then Islam was born from hate. If Christianity is NOT the true religion, then Islam was NOT born from hate.
So ENOUGH with the replies, the argument has long been over. If you're such a peaceful, tolerant person, then you'd refrain from starting it back up again. I doubt the owner of this stamp appreciates these giant text walls taking up the comment space either. So be mature and ignore it.

From how I recall learning it, (which may not be exactly correct, my memory tends to fog) early Islamic dynasties in the Muslim Empire were perfectly fine with the Jews and Christians living there. Sure they had to pay a tax, but for the most part could still make their pilgrimages into their Holy Land. It wasn't until the Seljuk Turks began stopping them did actual fighting break out. Now they realized that doing so would hurt the Islamic economy, but by that point the Byzantines already called for help from the Pope. And he only initiated the war to get Europe to unite against a common enemy. They weren't so much a war as they were forcefully protected pilgrimages.
The emotion in your post shows a clearly romanticized version of the Crusades, and terribly simplifies history into good and evil, but the truth is that real events tend to resist such simplicity.
