Description
I'm glad you all like this, I'm working on a cleaner version that touches on muscle, bone mass, hormones, and fat too.I think I'll do some more in depth studies too along those lines.
I'd also like to say... please look at the rest of my gallery. I have much better stuff than just this such as [link]
So if you type "weight gain tutorial" into google, mine's the first to pop up on google images. Cool.

This is really cool. I probably won't be using it as I really don't draw a lot of stuff. But nice tutorial.

Ah jeez XD I put two sentences together. I was watching a movie while I was typing this out. How about you look it over a couple more times and just tell them all to me so I can fix it real fast XDDD;

Herpaderp...
Do you want grammatical corrections as well as other corrections?
If so, I must warn you, I'm a Grammar (Patriot) Nazi.
Not a perfect one, since my grammar can be shit at times, but you get the point, correct?

Yep! As long as you're not an arse about it I'm fine with it XD
I'd rather be corrected than have a grammatical mess for every one to see.

This is actually really helpful. I think people need to draw curvier characters, all I ever see is Skinny waist, skinny hips yet GIANT chest o-o'
People are almost too afraid to draw larger characters. Thanks for posting this!

You're welcome! I personally got sick of drawing "perfect people". It was really bumming me out whenever I looked in the mirror! But after I did this it actually helped me realize everyone is pretty in their own way[:

Exactly!
I hate seeing these little twigs all over the place. Not everyone is like that, and it's not like you HAVE to be that size to be beautiful. Because I'm pretty sure the definition of Beautiful isn't skinny. Nor it the definition of Perfection skinny.

That's very true. Not even models can be as tiny as the magazines show them, they're all completely photoshopped to look softer and healthier. And I know a lot of people who are naturally big. I run two miles every day and can't get lower than 152 lbs.

ToSealOurFate In reply to xPinkScissorsx [2011-04-16 01:44:59 +0000 UTC]
Mhm. I'm probably a bit more than that. But I'm pretty tall, so if I get any lower than 150 my body is going to look weird, plus with my genetics I'm just going to be a bit on the chubby side. I think what really matters is being happy with yourself, even if you weight 300lbs or more. Friends and loves should accept you no matter what, and obviously if they don't then they aren't supposed to be in your life. There's a quote, I can't remember who said it but it's "Those who matter don't mind, and those that mind don't matter."

Its strange that all of the thin girls that go to my school think that I'm tinier than them, when they're 5'6" and 130 lbs...
Media seems to have become an evil thing

I can understand that. I try to photoshop stock photos when I'm bored, but I just can't find anything that should be "fixed". When I watch tutorials on photoshopping people into being "pretty" I just don't get how they can see those small things. I usually like the before photo. :S

Yeah. I occasionally photoshop pictures. But I just do silly things like add make up, or change the eyes to like rainbow or something.

I think I just feel more comfortable photoshopping my own. I'm more critical over myself, so I can take notice of the little mistakes and such. And you're welcome! ^^
