Since Rainbow bomb is the result of a one time swing and he aims to be as good as Vinyl, why not make that a surprise twist in his background story?

Vinyl scratch being the dad (twist in story) it being a one time thing and all. How Vinyl ends up being the dad: accidentally gets poison joke on her and she turns into a dude.
