My post perfect picture of earth to date::Features::
Using textures correct to one pixel per square kilometre (32K I think, courtesy of NASA)
Daytime and Night-time diffuse maps
Specular map which stops light from shining on land areas
Volumetric Cloud layer including shadows
Bump maps for added surface level shadows
Atmospheric glow
Starfield true to the constallations in the sky
Sun and Earth correct distance from each other for correct shadows
I will probably use it in a star trek/gate scene in the future

Love it, but I dont like the lightsource, seems fake.
The earth is fuckin awesome tho, looks like big landmass is africa.
