Description
When a Canto is killed, its body breaks apart and dissolves because of its spiritual bonds to it's body are fading. This causes a gas that is quite refreshing to Afinaetos, and it is quite intoxicating. However, it has only been recently discovered that the gas has some unprecedented side effects, it slowly shapes the breather's body into a form suitable for a canto to possess it. Those cracks that form are actually the result of the person's skin turning into a paper like substance and their blood transmutes to ink. However, it was thought to be impossible to kill so many of their kind to invoke such a painful, slow death...
