I did promise a while back to share more information about my other Fairy Tail OC. Well here it is like I promised
For all you wonderful people information on Roy Springfield. And a huge thanks to my dear Jusace She helped me with Roy's design as well as making this wonderful fullbody piece for his guild card.

Age: 18 (25 after Timeskip)

Appearance: Roy is a strong lean man. He is average in height. Roy’s most noticeable feature is his white hair. It is medium length and has a light spiky look. He wears a pair of white baggy pants and a pair of tall black boots. A black sleeveless shirt with a high tattered collar. It is opened showing most of his chest tied off with a white sash. His forearms are wrapped halfway up with fingerless gloves.

Personality: Roy is happy guy who loves to travel and to go on adventures. He likes meeting new people and making friends. Being very competitive, Roy loves seeing how strong he compares to everyone else. He is often seen in the middle of the guilds impromptu battles. He is every easy to trick because he is so trusting of everyone. This makes Roy a frequent target for pranks and jokes. This has also lead to some misunderstandings for him. People with bad intentions could easily take advantage of Roy’s trust for their own desires. But, when someone tricks him and others are hurt/ taken from Roy will become angry and do whatever it takes to make it right. Roy always tries to make everyone get along because he likes to make people happy. He will fight for everyone in Fairy Tail if they ask him to.

Magic: Metal Coat
Roy’s magic is used to cover his body as armor. He can cover his whole body, but Roy usually only covers his arm and legs. This is so he can keep his speed. Metal Coat does increase the power of his attacks and provides some defense. Roy does have the ability to shoot the fingers of his armor as daggers. They are accurate within 20 feet (6 meters). Roy will style his armor’s fingers differently to suit his need in battle.
Spells

Metal Coat Arms: Roy coats either one or both of his arms in metal. This helps increase his striking and slashing strength.

Metal Coat Digits: Roy is able to fire the fingers of his armor at the enemy. However once fired the digits do not return and the variations must be formed before firing.

Metal Coat Full Armor: Roy coats his entire body in a suit of armor. This increases his strength and defensive capabilities much more than just one section of his body. This spell isn’t used much because Roy feels it slows him down too much.

Grand Knight: Roy’s strongest spell. Details will be revealed later.

Family
Dan, Father (unknown) Dan was an average water mage. He met Samantha after he joined the Blue Pegasus guild. His magical skills weren’t that impressive, but he won her over with his charm and friendly attitude. Eventually making a family with her and Roy.

Samantha, Mother (unknown) Known as the Metal Mistress, Samantha was a very powerful mage for the Blue Pegasus guild. She was beautiful like many of the others in the guild., but still very smart in battle and life.

Mary, Grandmother (alive) Mary is a practical woman but still has a fun side. She is known for often playing jokes on Roy. Like many grandmothers, she always seems to know when her grandson is up to something. Roy calls her Granny

John, Grandfather (alive) Better known as Pop by Roy, John is a simple easy going man. He believes in hard work and tried to instill that into both Dan and Roy. He never lets anything get him down.

Erika Dheil/Springfield (alive) A sweet healing mage, Erika spent many years wandering around Fiore helping others with her magic. She is well known for getting lost in thought. Roy first met Erika when he crashed into her when she first came to Magnolia. After buying her a meal to make up for it, Roy took Erika to see the infamous mages of Fairy Tail. Soon after she met his team mates and other members. Erika decided to join the guild and Roy's team. The two of them got to know each other during missions and hanging out at the guild. They bonded over their joy of traveling and desire to help others and their teammates. Eventually they started dating and while Team Tenrou was missing Roy and Erika got married.

Alice Springfield, Daughter (alive) During the seven year skip, Roy married his teammate and lover Erika Dheil. When the others finally returned, not only were they married, Roy and Erika had a child. A lovely little girl named Alice. She has her mother’s red hair, kept rather long, and her father’s dark gray eyes. Alice is a sweet and excitable young girl. She hopes to be a strong mage like her parents.

History:
Roy was born to a pair of Blue Pegasus mages. His father Dan and his mother Samantha were popular with in the guild for their personalities and skills. They were a very happy family. When Roy was 6 he went to the guild to greet his parents coming back from their mission. But, they didn’t show. After waiting every day at the guild for a week, Master Bob helped Roy get in touch with his grandparents so they could take care of him.

His grandparents lived outside a village in the nearby mountains. They owned and ran a plant nursery. Mary tried to keep Roy away from magic, she didn’t want him to go missing like her son. One day while looking through some of his parent’s belongings, Roy found an old leather journal. It was Samantha’s spell book on her Metal Coat magic. He wanted to feel closer to his parents, so Roy chose to try and master his mother’s magic in secret.
The years past and Roy grew into a strong teen. Even though just about everyone had given up, he still had hope that his parents were out there somewhere. He spent most of his time working in his grandparent’s shop. On a dull afternoon, a group of thieves tried to rob their shop. Roy dispatched them quickly, but ended up revealing his magic to Mary and John. Seeing his strength, John thought that it would be a good idea for Roy to join a guild, to see the world, and give him a chance to look for his parents.

Roy was excited to start his journey. It was thrilling to go out seeing new places and meeting new people. The first place he went to visit was his parent’s guild, Blue Pegasus. Master Bob was very happy to see that Roy had grown into a strong young man. He offered Roy to join the guild but Roy didn’t feel quite right there. Master Bob gave him some good advice, to go and find a guild that suits him rather than to try and live like his parents. Roy spent some time traveling around Fiore, visiting different towns and seeing the different guilds. It was after some time Roy decided to join Fairy Tail after a run in with one of their more vocal members.

Trivia
Roy insists on cooking at the guild every once in a while, but he isn’t very good at it.

The necklaces he wears belonged to his father.

Roy started training under Erza after he joined Fairy Tail. He wanted to be able to be fast while using his magic like her.

His hair was originally a dark blue. It turned white when Roy tried one of his mother’s advanced spells. He didn’t have enough magic energy and it backfired on his body.

Roy was going to join Blue Pegasus like his parents, but he felt that he didn’t quite fit in.

He has a friendly/rival relationship with Elfman.
