I can't shade.I need, like help. I... dunno, maybe I'm limited with adobe, maybe I should try shading and coloring and crap with open canvas or somthin'... I... dunno, I can color with a pencil and a paper fine, but... *sigh* Oh well.
Could y'all do me a favor though and tell me out of the pictures I've done, which one you liked the shading on most? That might help me.
But yeah. For because I know she likes Deidra. And I felt like drawing him. x3 But yeah, I drew this in a notebook, so that's why it's kinda messy... it took me forever just to erase a bunch of random crappy lines and smudges... o_o
This is also my 50th deviation!!
*dance*It's like a turning point for my art, style, and type! XD If you get my drift, I guess...
Ya, I am starting to use persperctive, because to me, using proportion in drawings makes it wayyy more dynamic and enjoyable to look at.
This was kinda my first attempt at that.... XD It's not.. that... good...... o_o... And I know, the part between the elbow and shoulder looks short, but that's because it's coming at you, or at least that's what I'm attempting to do, really.
Oh well. At least I learn something each picture I draw, right? Heheh...Do you guys have any critique on how to make my perspective look... more like it's coming at you and not so much looking like an anatomical mistake? And please don't be mean or anything about it, I'm really sensitive about my art..... this is rare I'm asking for critique, but I need it.
But please excuse any other mistakes. I wasn't really looking at a reference or anything when I first drew this... so yeah. ^^

Heheh... thanks XP They're really... easy for me... o_o I just think of it as, each finger is a different size, no finger is the same, and they each have three parts, just like arms, the two first ones are the same size, and then the joint at the end is about half that size. And the thumb, well... it's just there. XD

DOn't woory too much, you're doing great for a beginner, the only way to improve your art is simply through practice. Oh, and reference pictures are also quite excellent.
