I know you made this for someone else, but would it be possible for me to use this image as cover art for a Clocky story I want to work on?

This is actually for a game I am making, not really for anyone in particular. I've seen other pictures of mine get used without permission, but I don't mind it so much when the poster actually remixes the sprite image with a nice background and effects. So long as you give me credit for the sprite image itself and consider the previous terms, you're welcome to use it.

If you want to know a bit more about the project, here's what I have planned.
"It’s going to be from a first person perspective. About 7 chapters if you count the epilogue. The first chapter is going to a retelling of “Your Time is Up,” from Clocky’s perspective of course. I’m also going to use this chapter to make it very clear that Clockwork and Natalie are two separate personalities, and hopefully try to talk a little bit about alters and dissociation as a defense strategy. Chapter 2 is going to introduce Toby, and with him Slendy, while 3 and 4 are going to go a little deeper into Toby and Clocky’s relationship. 5 is everything going to hell. Something big happens *spoilerstobydiesspoilers* that forces Clocky to take a look at herself and realize that things have to end. That because of this trauma, she’s at a crossroads herself: either push Natalie to get the help she needs and let herself go dormant, or form another alter because she can’t deal with it on her own. And she comes to the realization that if she allows the process to happen again, it will never stop, because none of the alters will have any coping mechanisms of their own beyond continual fracturing. Chapter 6 is going to be her confronting Slendy and basically telling him that if he expects her to join him after what happened, he can fuck himself. The epilogue is going to take place a few years later, this time from Natalie’s perspective, talking a lot about how she was found not guilty by reason of insanity during her trial by basically letting Clockwork out on the stand and scaring the shit out of the jury, which was Clocky’s last major act, then talking about her therapy, how she’s up for a new case review to determine if she should be let out yet, and how Slendy keeps visiting the hospital, hanging outside her window as if he expects her to change her mind, but she won’t let that happen. She won’t be a puppet on a string anymore. She’s stronger than that now. This is Natalie’s time to shine, and no one can take it from her anymore."
I wanted to ask, since your pic is like the only one I can find with Natalie as Natalie all grown up, rather than as Clocky, and we both seem to want this character to end in a good place (or in your case, I guess start in a good place and through the actions decided in the gameplay see if she stays there?)

Fortunately for you, she's actually one of the characters who is easier to get! In terms of her path being a more obvious one at the beginning of the game, that is.

By the way, you mentioned Ticci Toby is a nemesis in this dating sim. Does that mean he goes after you if you get too far with Clockwork? They are a canon couple, according to both their creators...
By the way, did you get permission from Clocky and Toby's creators for this, or are they fair use like Laughing Jack? Because I'd like to get their in input for a possible Clocky and Toby appearance in my Creepypasta story/comic Carrier of the Light, but so far they won't reply to me here on DA.

Ticci-Toby randomly goes after you based on Slender's influence (which will not be mentioned, but implied, rather.) I have gotten permission from Clockwork's creator to make her a datable character for this game, and I clearly state on the game's blog that the game is entirely fan-made and is not intended to affect or be part of any character's canonical story or status. I credit every character's creator if the appearing character is not mine, and the same applies to any references made in-game. Nobody really knows Jeff's original creator, on the other hand... I'll still give credit to the anonymous person, however.
Chances are, you won't be able to contact Toby's creator; I could never get a straight answer out of them myself. I believe they've left dA (unless they haven't and I'm not aware), and I know for a fact that they don't want anything to do with Creepypasta in general. As for Clockwork's creator, well, I contacted them many months ago, almost a year to date. I don't know how or if you'll be able to get into contact with them.
What I can tell you is that if you manage to get a hold of them, mention that your story is not intended to have any impact on their characters' canonical designs. That's a very sensitive subject with them.

As for Slenderman, there are people who come out and claim they've created him every so often, but none of them can prove it. Not to mention all the fan projects that have created and added to what I refer to as "the extended Slenderman mythos," llke Marble Hornets and Tribe Twelve. He's really one of those memes that's impossible to trace the true origin of, though his appearance and M.O. have roots in several mythological figures and folktales found in cultures across the world and history.
Well, I know Clockwork's creator replied to ONE of my messages, but not the important one. So he's still around. Maybe just not interested in the project?
Problem is, I don't fully know Toby and Clocky's personalities all that well, and I want to make sure that, if they appear in Carrier of the Light, I portray them correctly, or at least to the most popular headcanon.

I'm designing Toby after his original pasta, which has actually been narrated by MrCreepyPasta on YouTube, if you want to check it out. He also narrates Clockwork's pasta as well - and that's actually how I even came to know about either character. xD

I actually first heard about Ticci Toby from David Near, who does voice samples of various Creepypasta characters. My favorites of his are Ticci Toby (he does the stuttering so naturally), BEN Drowned, Sonic.exe, Slenderman, and Sexual Offenderman (I swear, I could schlick to that voice alone).
He also has a Sally video, but he has a guest star voice Sally while he voices Sally's uncle that killed her. He also helped a female friend do a Clockwork voice sample video.
As for Clockwork, I also first heard about her from a Mr. Creepy Pasta reading. Feel in love almost immediately. Just so few original female Creepypastas.
Though my absolute favorite Creepypasta ever is actually "Killswitch," which Creeps McPasta, the second-most popular Creepypasta reader, has a reading video of on Youtube. I've even played as Porto and Ghast (or at least, my headcanon of them) in a few Creepypasta RPs.
