Somewhat inspired by the ongoing discussion in Europe about veiled muslim women,and a text message sent to the biggest newspaper in Sweden:
i hate that you wear burka,
but i'm willing to die for your right to wear it.
Model is my sister.

For me, a Catholic, they can wear what they want. Burka is nothing perverse and I'm pro positive religion freedom(a freedom to pray for any god you want, as long as he/she is not evil, for example satanism should be prohibited, but islam, judaism or buddhism are tolerable, mistaken but tolerable, also there's a freedom to choose food, cloths and lifestyle by religion, and to celebrate special religious holidays they way you want, of course as long as you do not kill or torture any human) because I want the positive religion freedom for myself (for exaple, I wanna a free day on Church holidays, I wanna be free to pray a rosary in a public place etc. etc.). The problem is, do they really want to wear burka? Maybe they are made to wear them by their fathers and husbands, but they truely hate them? Islam is mistaken, but tolerable, like I said. But if anyone is being forced to be a muslim, it is not tolerable.

Actually there are at least two different belief systems going by the name satanism, one of them (and I think the most common since I think actual worshipers of Satan are pretty rare) being LaVey-satanism which is basically, if I've understood it correctly, saying that everyone are their own gods/masters and that it's perfectly fine to embrace your instincts and 'inner animal', which sound pretty legit to me.
As for Muslim women being forced to wear different sorts of veils: yes there are surely women who would rather not cover their heads and/or faces but are forced by dominating men in their surroundings (how common forced burka-wearing is I do not know), but those sorts of oppressions can be found in any culture and religion. Not to mention how women are not allowed to enter some churches without covering their arms and legs to their elbows and knees.
But overall I pretty much agree with what your saying, I just felt like being a stuck up know-it-all

Thanks for the reply. I still think that satanism should be prohibited, because this is a dangerous sect, not a true religon. In Catholic churches in Poland, woman do not have to cover their arms to their elbows to enter, but our priests often say "choose the right cloths for Sunday mass" when the summer begins

Which kind of satanism are you referring to now, of the two I described before? And what makes satanism "not a true religion"? I'm not very educated in the subject but I don't see why satanism should not be considered a religion. And one starts to walk on very thin ice when talking about prohibiting religions because who is to say what religions are to be prohibited?
As for satanism being a dangerous sect, I believe that there are numerous examples of much more dangerous Christian sects (for example) that both draw more followers and stand for much more horrible things. But maybe I misunderstand you, because I really have no idea what satanic sect you are speaking of.
