The typical first impression of Yuliana just from observation, is that she seems judgmental and somewhat unapproachable with a resting face that makes her appear to be uncaring. Probably is the very definition of calm all the way from her slow reactions to the soft way she speaks. ►History:
Yuliana was born into a rather affluent Russian family. A family that kept it's wealth by arranging marriages between them and other families who were just as, if not more than, wealthy for generations. A family 'norm' that most definitely didn't exclude Yuliana. Before she was at the age of six Yuliana was well aware of the fact that she would eventually marry some guy that her parents hand picked for her and would become his trophy wife.
Because of this much of Yuliana's childhood and early adolescence consisted of her parents trying to mold her into what they believe would be the perfect and most attractable wife-to-be. Of course, with her approaching the years of teen-hood, Yuliana rebelled against her parents demands quite frequently. Refusing to take private etiquette lessons or sneaking away whenever her pretentious father would arrange meetings with potential in-laws. Certainly a family wouldn't want to have their son marry a troublesome girl when said girl won't even show up to meet them. However, Yuliana might have had a brighter future for herself had she just met with one of the earlier families.
When she turned fifteen, Yuliana had met what she thought was the 'perfect' guy. Of course her parent's thought so as well since they were the ones that arranged the meeting between the two, and had connections with the guy's parent's for quite some time. The guy's name was Viktor and at the time of their meeting, was twenty years old. He was handsome and perfectly charming in every way with a smile that she could have sworn sparkled every time he sent a smile her way. Without much thought, Yuliana naively agreed to the marriage though they didn't officially marry until she was eighteen.
The first few years of their marriage was considerably 'happy' and Yuliana was in marital bliss. Vikor was every bit of a good man as she thought he would be. At least most of the time, but that didn't last forever like she wished. Signs that she earlier pretended not to notice started making themselves more and more obvious. It wasn't until about four years into the marriage that Viktor's usually well hidden side of anger issues and aggressiveness, and signs of him being an alcoholic started to really show over his prince-like facade. He began to physically and sexually abuse her. If something really ticked him off, be it business or work related, or even if he had stressful day that caused him to have just one too many drinks, Yuliana got the worst of it. And it only got worst over the years.
Three years after what had become an abusive marriage, a twenty-three year old Yuliana had definitely matured over time. She had to, or else she probably wouldn't have survived in the marriage as long as she did. She couldn't say anything to anybody out of fear of the threats made to her from her aggressive husband. Threats on her life that scared her to her core because she honestly believed he had it in him to take her life. She was nothing more than an item to him at that point. Something that was there to please him and that looked good standing next to him in public.

►Death:
On one particular night after they had come home late from a formal party, Viktor as usual had multiple drinks. That never ended well for her. Yuliana quickly made her way up to their bedroom the moment she saw him round the corner to the kitchen, surely going to get himself another drink. She didn't waste too much time getting out of her clothes and going to bathe, locking the door behind her. That was probably the first thing she did wrong that night. She heard the door knob shake and twist while she sat in the tub, mentally preparing herself for what would possibly happen when she opened the door. When she did, she instantly spotted Viktor across the room standing outside on their balcony. A glass in hand as he looked at her while she stood nervously in the bathroom doorway. Yuliana broke the gaze first and quickly made her way around the room towards the door to possibly get somewhere out of his line of sight, but he moved just as fast and swiftly had her pinned to the bed before she could even get near the door.
She struggled desperately under his weight to get away but he was too heavy and much stronger which kept her in place. The moment she felt the slightest lift in his weight as he reach to undo his clothes, her first reaction was to elbow him as hard she could in the side of his lowered head and pushed him off once she got the chance. The moment her feet hit the ground she took off towards the door again. Unfortunately she didn't make it that far. Viktor was already behind her and pissed. His grip and yank of her hair threw her balance off.
After being manhandled and thrown around the room every time she ran, Yuliana found herself backed against the balcony's railing. This time Yuliana didn't have much time to react since Viktor already had a firm grip around her neck and had her leaning backwards over the rail of the balcony, her short legs dangling while trying to get her feet to reach the floor. In that moment she saw an empty and cold look in his eyes, and as they got further away that was the last thing she saw before everything went black.
Everywhere she looked was just pure darkness and silence. Nothing but darkness surrounded her and it scared her. It was too quiet and she felt herself getting cold, quickly coming to the realization of what had happened. That's when she heard a voice greet her. Startled, she turned to see a strange figure outlined by a light she hadn't seen earlier. He introduced himself as Ringmaster and made her an offer to a new life. His only request from her was that she earned him emotions. She wasn't sure what exactly he was asking from her and for half a second, was hesitant to just quickly jump into something blindly again. But her fear of the feeling of death trumped her logical thinking and accepted his offer thus starting a new life as a performer in his circus.
