This really doesn't happen that often here in the valley. As such, I felt it necessary to take a drive out to the mountains and take a few shots. I soon found out that the rest of the city had the same idea.Related content

This really has vintage appeal. Could have changed the year 2006 to 1966 on the date, and I'l believe it. I do enjoy how that certain cloud seems to connect with the cactus, like its blowing a smoke.

Nice shot. I like how you did the border. The border makes the picture look like a postcard IMO. I wish I knew how you it. Can you point me to a tutorial on that?

I just used some brushes around the edge on a layer above the photo. Used the eyedropper tool to get a good color from the image. That's about it. You can get some very nice free brushes from [link]

i like the quality of this piece a lot. it's overall nature reminds me of an old cowboy flick. you did a really good job with the texture in the border and the color saturation of the photo.
