Description Fairy tales and old lies,
Wives stories and lullabies.
Growing up in make believe,
Never taught how to grieve.

Santa Claus and the tooth fairy,
Jesus, Joseph and Mary.
We’re protected by our parents so
That we don’t see the world they know.

The boogie man and the Easter Bunny,
No one thinks that they’re funny.
Make believe conserves what’s right,
And keeps them sleeping safe every night.
