Finally done
All geometry is turbosmoothable with correct edge loops. The whole model has a couple of triangles only as I couldn't get away with 100% quads only.
Very hi-detail, pretty much all parts are there in detail.
The drum mag opens via the hinge just like in real life.

The Colt Python is my all-time favorite handgun, and this looks excellent. Longer barrel than I am used to on this sort of gun, but hey, that's perfectly fine.

But to my taste - not good enough... The metal shader is off, I'll have to adjust it, probably make it anisotrophic...
