Another custom/ uparmorThe UED Battlestar Apache is both unique, and deadly, packing 8 MAC guns, scores of gun turrets, and a substantial missile loadout, she also packs state of the art stealth systems, making her one hell of a sucker punch ship.

friend of mine did a pixel art battlestar, not sure if it's the one I'm thinking of, but I wanted to see how a ship with slanted pod arms would look, particularly 4 pod arms.
thus, the end result, the apache.
I am very pleased with the results.

yeah.
while she can hold her own in one on one combat, her primary mission role is to get in, drop her fighters, and fall back to standoff distance, to that end, she's incredibly fast.
those 4 MACs on her front are early model MK I units, out dated and indeed rendered obsolete with the introduction of the HKEW(NAC10) guns fielded by the prometheus(nova class).

she's still quite capable of mixing it up with the enemy, if need be, but, her preferred tactics are launch fighters, and pull back to stand off range.

Nice but you should desine a heavily armed strike battlestar to torn those cylons into crap

rule one in the RDM Galactica universe: no uber heavily overgunned ships, trying to stay realistic in terms of the scale of the armaments I equip my customs with.
that said, a secondary mission profile for this ship is just that, running at high speed, firing everything she's got, not for a purely offensive move, but to punch a hole for other ships to follow.
her considerable missile armament would definitely come in handy in this instance, as would her unusually potent battle plate.
her primary mission profile, I believe I've said is as a fast attack battlestar, this would also aid her in this secondary mission profile.
another, would be what all battlestars are designed to be capable of doing, holding position and providing defensive cover.
of course, battlestars are combined capability ships, combining both the best and worst aspects of carriers and battleships, add to the mix that these are space craft, and you get the idea.
