: "Strange, why would you need to identify yourself if they were using UNSC reserved channels?"

Surge: "They were probably attacked by some Pokemon that can morph into one of our own, any ideas Cupcake?"

Melody: "Well, there's some Pokemon who can transform into a copy of other Pokemon, like Ditto, it's not a perfect transformation though, and there's Zoroark, who doesn't transform, but can cast illusions to look like some other Pokemon, or other species.

: "....Like humans"

Melody: "Yes, the illusions fall apart pretty easy once you know how the real "sample" behaves though"

Sparkie: "That can give us an advantage, right?"

Surge: "If they can't copy memories and official UNSC identification protocols, then yes"
