Chris: My scanner is a little B******.
Something little I made with watercolors. The original looks much better.
Whatever.
Atempause means in english " Respite" I think
At first I wanted to call the picture" Sleeping Hour" after a CDby Vienna Teng...hrmmm...
Just beside but, am I see right or do Kurapika looks really like a young men on this picture?!
Where is this girly boy I once see in the manga?!Where is he!???
Please comment before favorite.
(Sidenote: MenΒ΄s are very comfortable pillows! hehehe ...X3)

I don't mind Kurapica looking like a young man. He still kinda looks androgynous so that's okay.

During the years of making high-school diploma I was in a class that had the emphasis on Art. While this years I did take lessons...but somehow it didnΒ΄t make fun with this teacher thats why I am not studying art in university, but germanistic and history. Art is still my hobby thought.
And I still having vernissage and giving manga-draw lessons once a year for the younger.

Chris: I havenΒ΄t use watercolors for very long too...very very long. But when I had drawn the picture my teacher wanted the class to use watercolors and so I needed some exercise.
Do you know watercolor-pencils? that are colorpencils which you can draw and than go with water over it and it will be like watercolors. Maybe you schould try working with them, itΒ΄s more easier than with a spoon.
I am glad you like it. I was suprised that no one have thought about this pose too because if you watch the episodes itΒ΄s ...like jumping in your thoughts xD

i can just imagine her climbing in his lap eeep! it's so cute! and yeah i tried them, when i was younger i was confused, and stuck them into the water before i used them....totally ruined it...

This pencils are good to do the detail. You can do the fundamental color with the spoon and the detail in shadow and light with the pencil.

But...hey! You CAN use a spoon for watercolors! you can use the spoon-handle to skratch some white lines in the picture!

Do you remember the episode where Kurapika was ill and Senritsu and leorio looked after him? I wanted to make it in this colours and the walls in this scene were in a blue tone...but at my picture it turned out to dark, so it looks cold
hmmmm I think now it have an other atmosphare than I wanted it to have.
