Description

Effi & Friends is a "kawaii" mascot brand manufactured locally in the city that Casey and Lila live in. It's a similar concept to Sanrio/Hello Kitty. The characters are on plushies, dishware, jewelry, shirts, you name it. There's even a comic strip about them in the newspaper.

Effi the Elephant is meant to reflect Lila's character design, and Fifi the Giraffe is meant to reflect Casey's. Casey would probably hate that comparison, but I don't care. Their designs are heavily inspired by plushies from the brand Bellzi.

The signatures of an Effi & Friends mascot are the little angel wings and the big black eyes on either side of the head.
