Προσωπικα πιστευω πολυ σε σενα (και ΟΧΙ τυχαια) και ειμαι σιγουρη οτι μπορεις να κανεις οτι κι αν βαλεις στο μυαλο σου.Επισης πιστευω οτι εχεις βολευτει με την digital διαδικασια (φανταζομαι οτι θες να ειμαι ειλικρινης σωστα? )και πιθανον σου φαινεται αχαρο η δυσκολο να αλλαξεις δρομο.
Εχει απιστευτη ομορφια η Traditional δουλεια.Δεν θα το αλλαζα με τιποτα αυτο,ειναι ακριβως οτι με κανει ευτυχισμενη.Το τι μπορεις να δημιουργησεις με μολυβια η πινελα εγω το ξερω,αυτο που δεν ξερω ειναι αν θα το αποφασισεις.

Χμμ ξερεις αν δεν ισχυει αυτο που ειπα παραπανω,τοτε ειμαι δεινοσαυρος Γιαννη και πρεπει να εξαφανιστω!!

Τιποτα δεν ειναι ευκολο.
Ολα δουλεια θελουν.Στη φαση που εισαι τωρα,η digital δουλεια σου κανει καλο,αν μη τι αλλο σου παρεχει ενα "διχτυ ασφαλειας" κατω απο τον πισινο σου, μονο και μονο επειδη εχεις το ρημαδι το UNDO button.Στην traditional δουλεια δεν εχει δικλιδες ασφαλειας,απαξ και τα σκατωσες θα το πληρωσεις ακριβα με πολλες επιπλεον ωρες δουλειας για να διορθωσεις τα σκατα! (ΑΝ και εφοσον διορθωνονται...)
Για ολα τα πραγματα Γιαννη υπαρχει το σωστο timing.Η δικη σου ωρα θα ερθει και σε πιστευω οταν λες οτι θα προσπαθησεις,ειμαι σιγουρη οτι θα το κανεις.Απλα οχι σημερα.

Απλα δεν μπορω να περιγραψω με λογια πως αισθανομαι οταν ακουω τον ηχο των μολυβιων που γρατζουνανε απαλα το χαρτι.Την μυρωδια απο τα βερνικια και τα δυαλιτικα οταν κανω λαδια.Ξερεις μερικα πραγματα βγαινουν απο την καρδια και δεν περνανε καθολου απο το μυαλο σαν μια διαδικασια εκλογικευσης,για μενα η traditional δουλεια ειναι το απολυτο nirvana.
Και τωρα μπορεις να αρχισεις να γελας οσο θες,δεν θα με πειραξει καθολου,το υποσχομαι!!

Ναι αν εισαι διατεθιμενος να πας κοντρα σε οσα "περιμενουν" απο σενα,δεν υπαρχει καμια αμφιβολια οτι πολλα θα ανακαλυψεις στην πορεια.

Οτι δεν καταλαβαινουν οι υπολοιποι Γιαννη δεν σημαινει υποχρεωτικα οτι δεν υπαρχει.Παντα θα υπαρχουν πραγματα μεσα στο κεφαλι σου που δεν θα βρισκεις ομοια σε κανενα αλλο κεφαλι,αυτος θα ειναι ο φορος που θα πληρωνεις ολη σου τη ζωη για τα "καλλιτεχικα" σου ολισθηματα.
Με 2 λογια: μονοι μας ειμαστε.Εμεις που βλεπουμε τον κοσμο με αλλα ματια.Εμεις που εχουμε μια διαφορετικη αντιληψη.Εμεις που δεν μπορουμε να συμφωνισουμε με ολους τους υπολοιπους.

Οσο για την οικογενεια σου,αργα η γρηγορα οσοι σε αγαπανε σε αποδεχονται οπως εισαι και επιπλεον σε στηριζουν σ'αυτο.Αρα αυτο λυνεται.Εφοσον μεινεις σταθερος στην εικονα σου και ξεκαθαρος στις αποψεις σου.

In case you was wondering the other day,about my commission and the reason why it made me feel uncomfortable given the medium i used (with oils i am not as fast as i am with pencils,but i doubt anyone can be THAT fast with oils)this is a link to my recent work(havent uploaded to my gallery) [link] and it took me 6 good months to finish it.
Thats extremely time consuming and no price can pay for this really...

Wow! It's stunning! The title suits it perfectly, and your method of using layered glazed does take very long but makes it very special and valuable . Thank you so much for sharing it with me. I love working in oils, it is very time consuming and difficult to price but for me nothing beats the feeling and colour. Then it's difficult to photograph because of the shine, it never looks like it does in reality. I try not to use layered glazed too much because I have to steel the work, but it is very tempting for me because of the richness you can achieve if you keep going. That oil painting should be done for yourself in love not sold.

Every time i have to be apart from one of my pieces,it feels like someone rips one of my limbs.It hurts.
This one you saw went for 3000E and to hell with money,i regretted it the minute it was finished.
I have 3 more to deliver,it was a renaissance series for the client,i am almost done,just finishing touches to the rest 3.
I decided to show to YOU because i know what you are doing,i know you are familiar with oils,i know you can understand and appreciate an oil painting.
So dont thank me for sharing sister,i should be the one thanking you for being the artist you are.

Wow,that's good money though. The problem with working so long on a piece is you have more time to get attached, then it hurts! I've had quite a few of those. But i have to sell if i want to continue painting. The most i ever got was 500E. I'm busy with a massive one for 2 years now, and i don't want to finish because then it will be sold for food, ha, ha(strange)
But it is stranger still that when you love something you just have to do it, can't help yourself, you have to do your best even if there is no payment. Your client must be very happy and value your talent! Sometimes i think i love the wrong things in art because i seem to be drawn to very time consuming methods, would have been easier if i loved say photography, ha,ha
