Description
Yeah...well...Usually i love to dig in a good skin texture,re-invent all kind of pores,freckles,wrinkles,pimples and such.
It didn't happen here.I kept everything down to the minimal,although i am certainly NOT the zen master,but some times less is more.
"Simplicity" doesn't belong to me,she will travel to her final destination soon,to his part of the world.
She is my spiritual child though and i am proud of her and she will keep a place in my heart.
I used:
Derwent watercolor pencils dry
Albrecht Durer faber castell watercolor pencils dry
On watercolor paper medium tooth
reference used

I love the braid in er hair. It makes her look very sweet.
Also I love how you colored her hair. So many diffrent colors abd it lkoooks realistic in the fact it is perfectly combed.

There is nothing simple to say about this, she is beautiful and perfect here. Christina you have done an absolutely amazing job at reading her personality, and perfectly displaying here in this work. Taylor has not seen it yet and I promise to tell you her exact reaction when she does. For me I sat here in stunned silence marveling at how you have captured her so well, and in a style that suits her so completely.

I warned you i was going to change my ref in the way i thought it fit best,she turned a bit smaller than Mic,but in real she look divine,when you get to hold it you ll know what i mean.

I don't need to tell her so, I let her read your words instead. This picture is perfect in so many ways and when she saw it she was so quiet. She took it all in, read what you said about her under the pictures, and a warm glowing smile appeared on her face. As careful as she is about her image, and her looks, this got the highest marks from her. I can tell you without hesitation she would be the harshest critic of it, and there was no criticism at all in any respect. She loved it.
I did not see it coming, but you've proven with your execution of this to be a master of control, and you more than lived up to the challenge of simplicity, completely.
I am used to you and your work, and I feel very lucky to be able to hold these works in my hands and study them as they reveal how far you take your art, and how much of your soul you pour into it.
Not bad at all is an understatement, simply amazing and wonderful is much more like it.

Well, I think the lipstick is the best part...!!!!! It's like you can almost rub off that rich creme of the lipstick from Her lips..that, in color pencils, is fantastic..!!!!!! And overall, very cool, serene, simple and beautiful.

This is my ref [link] there werent cool tones in particular,but i wanted them to be so i invented them.For sure i didnt make a photo copy,i am aware of it,but i do enjoy the way it turned out.
